50' Clog Hog cleaned my pipes
- 09/12/2024
I had to have a plumber come out to clean a 2" kitchen drain that my 1/4' snake failed to do, and after he was able to break through the stoppage he took a video of the inside of the pipe showing he only punched a small hole through the grease buildup and the problem would be back.

I found out about Clog Hog and am so happy I did since it blasted away the grease
Works great

Purchased for clogged sink drain after trying the normal cable unclogger. Also tried plumber bladder which made a mess. Took a few attempts but worked great. Got chunks of calcium/grease just smaller than a golf ball to come out. A+++
Amazing

Used product to clear a pool deck drain full of years of mud. Cleaned it out effortlessly. Highly recommend.
AWESOME PRODUCT!!

I recently bought the 50 foot clog hog hose for my pressure washing business and I am very impressed!! This hose is by far superior to every other drain cleaning hose we have used in the past, simple to use and blasted right through six very clogged French drains in under 30 minutes!

Clog Hog’s customer service was also excellent!! I highly recommend Clog Hog and look forward to replacing all of our jetting hoses with Clog Hog Products.

Highly recommend this to the do it yourself homeowner. So easy to use. It took longer to set up than to clear the drain. They spoke with me to make sure everything would work for us. Appreciated that

Used this 50 footer on my 45 foot 1 1/2 sink drain now that's how you clean a drain out. Excellent customer service matching it up with my custom pressure washer. Must of hit 3 or 4 clogs needle jets went thru like butter on the last pass the Clog Hog fed itself thru the whole 45 foot no hands. Drain is now clean like new best product ever puts the plumber out of business.

Works Great. Been years working hours to keep drain cleaned and within 20 minutes completely cleared out. Great product and great customer service.
Like no other!

2 tight bends And 50' of clog in a poorly installed 1-1/2" kitchen drain pipe. Effortlessly cleared the bends and blew out the crud using a 2.6 gpm gas washer and the Needle Nose. Staff made sure I got the right stuff and that it would fit. No problemo as Arnold says.

Bod, thank you for your review.

Provided that one or two short-radius elbows in a 1-1/2" or larger ID pipe are within a foot or two of the opening, you can often push and twist the Needle Nose sewer jetter through.

However, if there are short-radius elbows deeper inside a 1-1/2" or 2" ID line, snakes and sewer rods are usually a better choice because they can use twisting or bending action to get through.
Worked like a charm!

I was a plumber in the USAF. We had a big sewer jet truck. It always cleared blockages easily. When I had a backup in the house, I thought how handy that would be. I began searching for a home version and found Clog Hog.

The package arrived quickly, after a call with their customer service. They just wanted to be sure my washer was compatible.
I entered my pipes through the roof vent. It easily went around all the bends in the system. The drain immediately cleared up.

Excellent product.
Fantastic product, saved me a lot of $$!
- 06/13/2021
I was quoted between $800-$1100 jet my house's drain lines after I'd already paid someone $300 to snake them unsuccessfully. I did some looking and found the Clog Hog (50'). Before I could order it I received a phone call from them to make sure I had the correct product and to give me tips on its use.

I got everything going quickly and with some manipulation I got the Clog Hog in about 40 feet to the clog. It's basically self propelled! The drain was immediately flowing 100%. I also cleared a gutter that was so clogged that the debris was like cement inside. Another $100 saved!

My advice for using the Clog Hog is to be patient. Do your prep work on the area. Wear gloves and eyewear but most of all don't give up on it if you encounter am elbow in the pipes. It will feel like it won't go further but keep giving the hose small turns while pulling it back a bit and the Clog Hog will eventually move forward.
Saved me $1200.00.

Outstanding product and support, local plumbing co wanted 1200.00 + tax to hydro jet my plugged up bathroom drain, ordered 50 ft drain cleaner and unplugged myself in about 15 minutes. Try this product before calling plumber.
Worked great for cleaning up downspout drains.

Worked very well with Ryobi for cleaning up downspout drains.
Amazing!
- 11/28/2020
I never leave reviews, but this thing is so amazing I had to!

After struggling with power snakes on a really pesky kitchen drain pipe over a couple of years, this took care of the problem with almost comical ease.

The customer service is amazing, they actually called me when I placed my order and talked me out of a couple of things I didn't need and gave me some tips on proper usage. When does that happen these days! I would give this product and the company 10 stars if I could!
Top notch product, customer service and company !!!
- 10/27/2020
Bought two of these units to maintain my septic system and in home use. They work extremely well to free up the nastiest of clogs. I had a slight problem with one of the units and the warranty department / customer service went above and beyond to make things right. A plus all the way around !!
Works like a dream!

I formerly had 4 large trees that would shed leaves from mid Oct, to late Jan. It's hard to clean gutters 25 Ft off the ground in Jan when there is snow and ice!

Needless to say one of those times it rained like crazy before I could clean my drain line. It clogged. I had tried the garden hose, a large snake and other methods with no luck.

Searching, I found "CLOG HOG" and placed my order. Customer Service is beyond TOP NOTCH! I received a call and answered many questions on my planned use to verify I had the correct product. How many places ask this? None that I can recall.

When I received the item I put it to work, not sure how it was going to go. Going from the main downspout I had issues with, I could not get it to go around a 90 degree bend. I attacked the drain from the next down spout over and again had some brief issues with a 90 degree turn. I got it around this one, met the clog and in 10 minutes had the leaves and debris out.
The way the CLOG HOG feeds itself forward and blasts the debris back on retraction was a dream.

When it was all done, I had water flowing to the street for less than the $300 house call a plumber wanted. 5 stars, because that' all that are offered. 10 stars would be better.
Excellent product!!!
- 07/09/2020
Ordered mine a month ago and was truly impressed that the company actually followed up with me to make sure that I was familiar with the hyrdojetting process in lieu of them just simply processing the order. Excellent built quality and product worked on many of my area drains in my yard!!!
It Just Works
- 06/22/2020
I purchased this jetter hose as a last ditch effort to fix my drain issues in my own house.

First, the telephone support is outstanding. I had a lot of questions on the product and support rep took all of my questions. No pressure to buy at all - even though you should if you've made it to this point.

Second, the product is exceptional. It works. Our kitchen drain backed up. I took apart the drain lines and started in jetter in the main cabinet area under the sink. I got all the way to the main stack about 40 feet away. I honestly didn't think it was going to make the first bend. All together, I made 5 90 degree bends. You have to be patient and work the cable by twisting it and letting the jetter do its job. The last bend to the main drain stack took some time and in the end, nothing sounded better than hearing the water going to the main drain.

I called a few places to have this done. One place quoted me $300/hr with a 3 hour minimum. Insane.

I guarantee you that my pipes are crystal clear. All of the slop that was blocked up did make its way back to where I was working, so you need to have a shallow bucket or contain it. This is how I know what was blocked in the pipe. Until the blockage was punched through, it was all coming back out to me.

I will never call a plumber again for a blocked drain. Never.
PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!!
- 05/25/2020
OMG! This this is fantastic, washing machine pipes were backing up, had plumber out, which was a waste of $175. He snaked it, said the washer just pumps too fast. Used this yesterday and it's fixed! Also FANTASTIC customer service, they called before shipping to ensure it would work for my situation and equipment. Highly recommend both company and product.
Exceeded Expectations
- 05/07/2020
I bought this as a last ditch effort to try to clear a tile in my back yard before having to dig it up. My basement sump pump goes out a 3" sewer pipe to a catch basin in my back yard. From there it transitions into a 4" corrugated field tile. The field tile stopped taking water this spring and the catch basin was backing up into my yard.

I didn't have very high expectations for this product to work in the corrugated tile. However, with some persuasion it pulled itself about 40' through the tile and tile is now taking water again! This thing has amazing pull power - very impressed with it.
A Lifesaver

Had a serious clog in our kitchen drain that extended down thru the concrete slab floor. Snaked and plunged and snaked with no progress.

Enter the Clog Hog. This bad boy cut thru and blew out the unsnake-able clog. Important user tip - thru trial and error I found it best to feed the ClogHog into the drain prior to attaching it to the gun. With the Clog Hog hose still coiled, my son was able to twist the line as I fed it into the drain, similar to a snake, enabling it to maneuver thru several turns.

When the line would go no further we hooked it up, turned it on, and slowly retrieved with a back and forth action. Whooosh! Clog gone. I fearlessly await another clog.
Best clog clearer.

Needle Nose Drain Cleaner for RV Tanks
- 09/18/2019

Clog Hog
- 09/09/2019
The Clog Hog is an amazing tool to use to clean clogged pipes. Easy to operate and safe to use. Very happy with purchase.

=======================
Response from Clog Hog:
=======================
Jim, thank you for your comments.

It's primarily he user who determines whether the drain cleaning tool is safe. Just as it would be very dangerous to pressure wash your deck without wearing protective shoes, it would be dangerous to use a sewer jetter without wearing fluid resistant work gloves, eye protection and protective clothing.
50 Ft Needle Nose Drain Cleaner
- 09/06/2019
Purchased the Needle Nose Drain Cleaner to tackle two blocked pipes that my house downspouts feed into. The clogs were due to a heavy buildup of dirt, debris and roots. I tried several methods to open them up but was unsuccessful until I found this product. Suffice it to say the Needle Nose Drain Cleaner worked wonderfully and I had my drain pipes cleared in short order. I would definitely recommend this product!

=======================
Response from Clog Hog:
=======================
Anthony, thank you for your comments.

You should avoid using a Clog Hog sewer jetter in any sewer drain that could have roots.

For improved durability Clog Hog drain cleaners use much stronger materials compared to lower-cost sewer jetters. Should a Clog Hog sewer jetter exit the pipe through a root crack and get stuck in the ground you'd have a very difficult extraction job.

Before attempting to clean a drain that could have roots, you should inspect it with a plumber's video camera to ensure that there is no crack or breach that's large enough for an electric snake or sewer jetter to get stuck.

There's detailed information about cleaning tree roots on our Drain Cleaning Tips pages.
Excellent
- 09/03/2019
Was a challenge to get everything setup and work through all the pipes. But it did the job! I now never call a plumber to clean my lines. Have shared with others - it really works!
Performs pretty well
- 09/01/2019
For the most part this performs as advertised. I did have a vertical gutter clogged with pine straw and it did not pull it all down even though I went from bottom up and all the way through to the top and pulled it back through the clog. It got stuck at one point. I can see if it were dissolvable material, it would have worked better. I would buy it again knowing what I know now.

=======================
Response from Clog Hog:
=======================
TB, thank you for your comments. We'd expect your gas pressure washer to provide enough force to flush pine needles out of the gutter downspout, and we'd usually expect a gas machine to power the sewer jetter straight up at least 2 stories.

However, downspouts can have irregular inside surfaces, especially where the rectangular channel curves around building features, and in some cases it's been necessary to insert the jetter into the top gutter opening and feed the nozzle downhill to reach the clog.

As detailed on our Drain Cleaning Tips pages, a flat sewer rod with a black, plastic arrowhead-shaped tip is usually the easiest and lowest-cost way to clean a vertical gutter downspout that has a rectangular cross section.
Pleased with Needle Nose

We have an upstairs kitchen drain that combines with a drain of our bar sink in the basement. We would typically have to call a plumber every year because the bar sink would back up, especially when we used the disposal or dishwasher upstairs. I bought a mechanical cleaner with a spiral head that got us by for 2-3 years without hiring a plumber. But the drain finally clogged up so much with hard, grease build-up that the mechanical cleaner would not make it through the obstruction. After paying $185 for the plumber visit and having the drain start to back up again within a few weeks, I decided to look for another alternative.

At first I started looking at higher-end mechanical cleaners, starting around $250, with grease-cutting heads like the one the plumber used. I had seen ads for bladders that you mount on the end of your water hose to blast away the clog. Then I wondered if I could make use of my gasoline-powered pressure washer and through Google searches learned about sewer jetter cleaners.

I looked at other, cheaper brands to start, but found that they could not negotiate our 1-1/2" pipe size, so I purchased the 50-ft Needle Nose drain cleaner from Clog Hog for its small nozzle size and flexible line.

The first time I used the Needle Nose, I let it progress all the way to the end of its length, but then gradually pulled it back while spraying to see the results of the cleaning. It brought back lots of slurry to the bucket I had under the clean-out access under the bar sink. Within a week or two, the drain was starting to back up again. I realized that I should not have pulled the Needle Nose back while it was spraying, because all that slurry was still in the pipe. So I cleaned it again, this time stopping the spray when the hose reached the end of its limit and pulling the hose back in with no spray.

We can gauge the drain flow by running water in the bar sink at full flow through the faucet and observing how high the water rises into the neck of the drain or into the sink. The drain was flowing at a higher rate after the second cleaning than it had for some time. We are very pleased with the Needle Nose and I plan to use it at least once a year for preventative maintenance or whenever the drain flow reduces again. For less than the cost of one plumber’s visit, I have a dependable tool that I can use for years!

Response from Clog Hog:
=======================
Francis, thank you for your detailed review.

Even if you're careful never to pour grease down a kitchen drain, after some years a waxy coating can accumulate inside the pipe from the items cleaned in the sink.

You can often scrub away and flush out the thick residue in a single pass of the sewer jetter, but in some solid residue, often hardened by calcium buildup, can take more time and patience to thoroughly clean and flush.

Important: like all spray nozzles, sewer jetters have greatly diminished force when operating underwater. Sewer jetter cleaning force increases very significantly once the clog begins to clear and the pipe starts to drain.

This product works great for me as i seem to get a lot of soft clogs in our drains. Avoiding the drain snake is helpful or the plumber at $ 1200.00 a visit. Thanks john
50 Ft Needle Nose Drain Cleaner Review
- 08/09/2019
I purchased this product to clean my drain tile. I have Iron Ochre and my drain tile is clogged on one side of the house, but is still in good working conditions on the other side. I tried to unclog the clogged part of the drain with Clog Hog, but I wasn't successful after several passes.

I think the iron had settled for too long and hardened to a point of no return. It did an excellent job cleaning the drain that still works, however. So overall, I found the product to work great for preventive maintenance and cleaning working drain tile. I dropped one star because it did not unclog my clogged drain.

Still a great product and I recommend it if you have Iron Ochre. Just maintain your drain regularly and you shouldn't have any problem.

=======================
Response from Clog Hog:
=======================
Ben, thank you for your review.

We'd expect your sewer jetter to break through and scrub away just about any iron ochre clog, even if the clog has dried out and hardened. Of course, scrubbing out a hardened iron ochre clog can take much more time and patience.

If you're unable to remove the clog with a sewer jetter, we'd strongly recommend that you have the drain tile inspected with a plumber's video camera to see what might be blocking the line.

You can also email or call us for more suggestions.
Works great

Great product, easy to use and does as advertised.
Great tool
- 07/27/2019
I had to clean out several pipes that were horizontal. They can be quite messy. The remedy for this is a 5inch x 5inch piece of inner tube. Poke a small hole in the middle of it, shove the nozzle thru the hole, then wad up a rag to the size of the pipe. Now you can shove the nozzle into the pipe while you block the exhaust with your "Rubber shield".

I had my wife operate the power washer handle from a safe distance, just saying ON-OFF. The Tool worked very well cleaning a pipe that comes from my kitchen. It was a 2 inch pipe that had an effective diameter of about a half inch. When I got done with the Clog Hog the pipe was draining properly. If you already have a pressure washer this is an inexpensive and awesome tool to own. A Lifetime tool.
Awesome product!!!
- 07/19/2019
I ordered the 50' Clog Hog for my gas powered pressure washer to unclog a Laundry Room/Kitchen drain. I had tried my small 25' snake attached to my drill, a larger power snake I rented and they just couldn't open the line. After about 15 minutes with the Clog Hog pressure washing out the line the problem was solved. I had called a Brand name "Rooter" company and they were going to charge me $800 just to come out and run a camera down the drain to pin point the damage, repairing was additional to that.
Thanks Clog Hog for a great working product.
Great Drain Cleaner
- 07/13/2019
I use my Needle Nose drain cleaner as a maintenance cleaner. I have not had opportunity to see how it works with an actual clog, but I suspect it will clear it out. It pulls itself along drains effortlessly.
Excellent product, excellent performance
- 07/09/2019
I hooked the 50' hose up to a craftsman 2.8 gpm 2800 psi unit.

Powerful results both in cleaning and forward jetting. Great to find that some products out there are a surprise on the upside.

Highly recommend.

What an easy tool to use. Watched the video on your web site and cleaning the under drain pipes was easy. Took a lot less time then I thought when I started the project. Thanks Clog Hog. Fit perfectly to my power washer.
Excellent Tool for every Handyman
- 01/21/2019
My wash machine drain slows to a crawl at least once every year. I usually pay a plumber about $100 every year to snake the drain clear of the buildup. This year I decided to give this tool a try.

The Clog Hog tool matched the PSI, GPM output and hose connection of my pressure washer perfectly. The tool entered the drain with very little effort and managed to extend the entire 50ft of the hose length. As a bonus I proactively cleared my bath and kitchen drains with ease. This tool has already paid for itself.
A no-brainer
- 01/17/2019
Way better than just shoving the klog through. This cleans the inside of the pipe so it doesn't get backed up again in the first place
Great Product
- 01/10/2019
I just jetted most of my drain lines with the Clog Hog. It worked flawlessly, even in the 1.5 inch drains. Well worth the money and high quality.
Good Quality Hose and head
- 12/31/2018
Hose made from good quality material and was able to snake it through 1 1/2 pipe leading to exterior dry well. Had an issue with nozzle clogging but I suspect my well water sediment contributed to that. So far I am happy with the results. My dry well previously clogged by washer machine lint. I installed a washer machine lint filter in my home to prevent future build up.
100% GREAT...!!!!
- 12/30/2018
Excellent Product... Just as the Ad... simple and Easy to use..... and the best it performs es it says ...!!!!
Great Tool

I use it to clean my sewer lines. Works great with a standard pressure washer.
Clog hog 50ft hose and nozzle

We unclogged all of our septic leach field pipes that were clogged with small palm tree roots.
Followed the instructional video online. Very pleased with the results!

Very powerful, durable, operates as described, good value.
Saved Time and Money
- 12/04/2018
The Clog Hog really works. After spending a considerable amount of time and effort with a sewer snake, we tried the Clog Hog. It cleared not only the clog, but also pushed out quite a bit of build up. We had one clog on a rental house where we were looking at busting the slab to get to the clog. The Clog Hog cleared it.
Amazing Tool
- 12/04/2018
Purchased this tool after getting a quote from my plumber on how much they charge to Jet clean my drain. Figured if it worked it would more than pay for itself in one use. The first time I used it it seemed to blow out the clog pretty quickly and the drains seemed to work fine. However my drain clogged up again in 2 days.

I decided to try it again but this time I ran the hose as far as it would go in then I ran the hose up and down the pipe several times to really give it a chance for it to work and clean out the drain. This time it worked like a champ, it cleared the pipe completely. 2 months later my pipes are still flowing freely.

I highly recommend this product it does exactly what it says it does. I just recommend running the tool up and down your pipes several times to really clear it. I'm very happy with this purchase.
Saved me $300
- 12/01/2018
Last time I had my kitchen line hydrojetted it cost me $300. Just used the clog hog and it worked great. Planning on doing it every 6 months as preventive maintenance
50' residential hose
- 11/24/2018
Unfortunately it didn't do what I needed it to. At anything more than 2-3 feet the hose was too flimsy to further down the line where the elbows were. Also it always got stuck in the bathtub trap, all in all I had to cut the pipes out and do it the hard way. Regardless though the clog was at the cast iron main and it wasn't able to punch through that anyway. The residential hose is probably better off for simple stuff but nothing that requires you to snake it at any distance.

=======================
Response from Clog Hog:
=======================
Jake, thank you for your review.

It's usually impossible to pass a sewer jetter or mechanical snake directly through the drain opening at the bottom of a bathtub. That's because bathtub bottom drains have linkeages and traps that block the tool.

As detailed on our Drain Cleaning Tips pages, you'd need to carefully remove the overflow plate, taking care not to damage any attached stopper and linkage as you pull them out, and then feed the drain cleaner through the exposed drain opening behind.

Because bathtub linkages can sometimes be difficult to remove and reassemble, it's often much easier to insert the sewer jetter into a different clogged drain opening in the same bathroom, such as the opening under the sink that's exposed when you remove the trap.

If the bathroom has a separate tiled shower that's also clogged, removing the shower drain cover and feeding the drain cleaner through that opening is often the easiest approach since there's a minimum of preparation and cleanup needed when feeding the sewer jetter into a tiled shower floor drain.

Please call or email us if you'd like more suggestions to help you complete this project.
Solid piece of equipment
- 11/22/2018
Well made hose, from a very strong plastic/rubber compound. Used to clean basement drain tile. Went through 2 90 degree turns. The hose was actually stuck for a bit. After i pulled it out, it was only slightly scratched. I was surprised, really thought it would tear or a least gouge on the sharp concrete. Definitely a keeper
a lot smaller nozzle
- 11/19/2018
Nozzle is a lot smaller then the one that I got off Amazon. The product is more expensive but I needed it to clear 90°.
WORKS GREAT!!!!
- 11/19/2018
Only used It Twice So Far, But Each Time It Worked Like A Champ!! Would Recommend This To Any Body Who Has A stopped Up Line!!!!!

Greatest
Excellent Tool!
- 10/31/2018
For almost 18 years (since I've lived here) the washing machine (draining the water) would cause the basement floor drain to gurgle. Recently the drain was also backing up. I've had plumbers come in and charge anywhere from $150 to $300 to snake the line, with no significant change. I finally decided to buy Clog Hog needle nose after looking at some slighly cheaper options online due to the great reviews, compared to mixed reviews on cheaper jetters. I am not able to access a cleanout so I opted for the needle nose to allow me to get through a a couple 90 degree turns under the sink and into the drain line.

I was able to get the Clog Hog to pull itself through the line and spent 20+ mins jetting the line. Filled the washer with water, ran it, and NO BACKUP and NO GURGLE! The Clog Hog is able to blast away the black buildup of gunk in the lines in a way that the metal snake just can't do. Great product!
50 Ft Needle Nose Drain Cleaner
- 10/28/2018
My 50 ft. needle nose drain cleaner, is a fantastic drain cleaner. It works great cleaning out my gutter and sump pump drains. It has made life so much easier at my home, I don't know how I survived this long without it.
Worked Great! Money well spent!
- 04/22/2018
For the past 5-6 yrs, our kitchen sink kept clogging. Tried the 25 ft snake, didn't work too well, then I found those pipe bladder thing and that worked -- for a short while before it clogs up again. I've been looking into getting the Clog Hog for several years, but never did because I didn't have a pressure washer.

Well, I've finally broke down and got a pressure washer (Champion 3200 PSI / 2.4 GPM) and ordered a 50 ft Need Nose (would have ordered a 100 ft, but didn't see it for a 3000+ psi pressure washer).

I started at the clean out right outside the kitchen sink. Went down about 3-5 ft before it got stuck. I worked the Clog Hog in an out several times before it started going in a bit more easily. I repeated this in and out process every few ft. Once I hit about 20-25 ft or so, I really got stuck. It wouldn't go in anymore. I thought I hit a corner, so I tried twisting the hose and see if it can turn itself, no go. Well, I kept at it for about 5 to maybe 10 min and it finally broke through. From that point on (I stopped at around 40 ft) it was free flowing.

I didn't time myself, but I'm getting it took 15-30 min. During the entire process, chunks of what looks like plaster came out. Some so big that I couldn't remove it while breaking it up. The last bit (the area I spent the most time on) produced the biggest piece.

Anyway, I plan on using it every six months or so for maintenance.

Money well spent. Highly recommended!

Done a great job
Great product
- 04/20/2018
I've tried many things to unclog my drain nothing worked. Had a drain rooter company, he broke off a tool in my drain. He got a pin hole open it was slow draining. Used Clog Hog, drain was completely blocked. It opened my drain and the stuff that came out was unbelievable. Broke up hardened something and flushed it out.

My drain is clear and fast running. I recommend this product and I have told others if they have a drain problem get one of these. This is a great product.
Great tool for clearing grease buildup
- 04/19/2018
After trying several different chemical products without success, we decided to purchase the Needle nose drain cleaner. There was so much grease build-up that we had grease coming back through the sink.

After running the Needle nose, the drain pipe is clean and we haven't had any more problems. Best tools for the job!
The ClogHog works like a dream!!
- 04/19/2018
The downspouts for our house and drains for the backyard Patio all feed into the same underground drain. Needless to say the drain ended up getting clogged. After first showing my wife the Clog Hog website she insisted I call a plumber first. So after spending $527.00 (you know, happy wife, happy life) and still having clogged drains I insisted on purchasing a Clog Hog.

It worked FANTASTIC!! My drains were unclogged and free flowing in less than a 1/2 hour. It took longer to set things up than it did for the Clog Hog to do its job. It's so easy to use!! I followed their instructions and it worked like a charm! And yes, I informed my wife that for what the plumber cost I could have purchased the Clog Hog and a new 3100 psi pressure washer! (FYI 50' ClogHog and 3.5" corrugated drain pipe.)
ClogHog is Awesome!

We have a floor drain in our house that has been an issue since we moved in more than 12 years ago. I've spent more than $1,500 over the years to have the drain cleaned periodically by plumbing services. No more.

My wife found Clog Hog on-line and ordered the 50 ft needle nose. It was easy to use and it really does work! My clog was 40 feet into my drain. I highly recommend.

Clog Hog Needle Nose Drain Cleaner Review
- 04/04/2018
I had a kitchen drain clog that the standard drain snake could not keep clear. I purchased a pressure washer and the Clog Hog 50 Ft Needle Nose Drain Cleaner and it worked phenomenally! The amount of crud that came out of the clean out was absolutely disgusting. The Clog Hog was easy to use and did exactly as advertised.

I have recommended the Clog Hog to several of my friends already. Purchasing the pressure washer and Clog Hog Needle Nose Drain Cleaner was about the same cost of having a drain specialist come out and snake the drain. After one use this setup has paid for itself. I highly recommend the Clog Hog.
It works, and works well !!!

I purchased the 50-ft Needle-Nose Drain Cleaner ... along with the 100-ft Residential Drain Cleaner. They work and work well. The only reason I did not give the Needle-Nose Drain cleaner 5-stars is that I wish it was a bit more flexible to feed it thru a toilet and into a 3" drain - I couldn't. Had to pull the toilet and use the other drain cleaner. That said, they works really well when connected to my pressure-washer. I am VERY pleased

Mike, thank you for your comments.

You should not try to pass a sewer jetter or plumbers snake through a toilet because the drain cleaner could scratch the visible ceramic surface at the bottom of the bowl, and could get stuck in the sharp ceramic edges inside the toilet.

If the clog is within a few feet of the bowl, you can try a specially designed, manual toilet auger that has a protective plastic sleeve and a high force, rotating handle.

If the clog is further away from the toilet bowl and several bathroom fixtures are clogged, you can insert the Needle Nose Drain Cleaner into a different clogged drain opening such as the opening under a bathroom sink that's exposed after you remove the P trap, or through a clogged walk-in shower floor drain.
Unclogging residential main sewer line
- 04/01/2018
Was having problems with main sewer line for years. Rented sewer augers for under the sink and large drain cleaners, which we took up on the roof...yes, the roof!! Never got all the crud out. Researched online and found the Clog Hog. Read about it and called customer service. Spoke with them over a few days and they helped me figure out which size needle nose and length of hose I needed. I highly recommend you research what size drain you have and hopefully know where the pipe bends, and how many feet until you reach your problem area and also know what model and pressure your pressure washer is. All this info helps customer service determine which drain cleaner and length of hose you need so as not to waste your money. The company was very helpful in making sure I didn't pay for more than I really needed.

I ended up also buying a 30' replacement extension hose for the wand at Sears. This was so I could get on my roof with the pressure washer wand and the Clog Hog, while my wife stayed on the ground to turn the pressure washer on. I went down the sewer pipe on the roof and let the Clog Hog do its thing.

Worked like a charm! That little needle nose drain cleaner did a fantastic job, very powerful! I recommend you read about the product and watch the video this company has made so you know what to expect. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has ever had a sewer drain problem.

This thing is great blasted out my drains and saves me about 800 bucks. Plus now if it happens again to anyone I know I can help them out too. Was less messy then expected too.
works better than advertised
- 03/20/2018
One of the very few things I have ever purchased that works absolutely better than advertised. The 50 needle nose drain cleaner, on my first attempt, completely cleared a 40' lawn drain in lest than 3 minutes.

The drain was totally clogged with oak leaves and various yard material.

I had an exasperating clog of a drain from my patio. I tried everything from a drain snake to blasts of air. But no luck until the Clog Hog needle nose...even though the standard clog hog would have been more efficient. Superb tool....worth every penny. It cleared the muddy clog pronto

Robert, thank you for your comments.

Because the Needle Nose drain cleaner has a steel belted sewer jetter hose, it costs more per foot - and has a much shorter nozzle end - than lower-cost sewer jetters.

We hope you'll find that the added performance and durability of the Clog Hog sewer jetter is worth the cost.
Paid for itself the first time I used it.

I got the smaller needle nose drain cleaner because a part of my cleanout access was only 2" diameter. Worked great to clean out all the grease buildup from my kitchen sink to the catch basin.

It was only 12' but I also used it on my 4" cottage septic drain that was 44' in length. Fantastic results even with the smaller needle nose. Would be nice to have reference marks on the hose to know how deep you are during the process.

Thank you for your review.

The methods we've tested to mark the sewer jetter hose - including inks, shrink tubing and tapes - all eventually wear off, leading to added risks should the user rely on those markings to determine when to shut off the high-pressure spray.

If you need a temporary marking to judge cleaning distance, you can attach a thin strip of colored electrical tape, though it might be easier to measure the length of hose that's still outside the pipe and subtract that from the total length.
Works Great

I purchased this to clean out clogged septic tank field drains. It worked on 3 out of 4. It might have cleared the 4th but I lost patience and was adding new lines anyway. This will save a lot of money doing it yourself than calling a plumber or septic tank company.

This little guy is a powerhouse and is much more flexible than anything else I have used. Use it and you will be sold!
It worked!! Drain is still clear 4 months later.

One of our drain lines was backing up every 6 months. We had a drain rooter and assorted plumbers out to the house numerous times to clean the clog and get the drain working again. Not only was the sink backed up but the water, when it would drain, was spilling out the washing machine drain. The clog was in the kitchen sink / washing machine drain line that ran under the garage's concrete slab.

Although I begged him not to, my husband even tried drano on the clog - which didn't work. My general contractor cousin was over for dinner the night of the big clog and he mentioned that more recently plumbers were using a water jet hose connected to the pressure washer to clear the drain lines. I looked it up on the internet and Clog Hog seemed to have the best reviews and their return policy made me feel safe buying it in case it didnt work. I also liked the fact that they were very clear about the specifications of matching the right hose/nozzle for the pressure washer. Amazon vendors didnt mention anything about that and return policies at Amazon, for non-Amazon sellers aren't the best sometimes.

Anyway, before buying I called to make sure I got the right size nozzle for the size of my drain pipe. I ended up with the 50 foot hose and the small nozzle due to the size of my pipes and the fact that they had some pretty severe bends. When the Clog Hog hose arrived my husband hooked it up to the pressure washer and while it didnt propel itself through the pipe like we thought it would, he was able to push it through and the drain has been clear ever since.

I am so happy with this purchase. The cost of the hose and nozzle was 1/2 the price of a plumber or Root-rooter and if I get another clog, I can just use it again.

Marianne, thank you for your review.

We'd definitely expect your gas-powered pressure washer to create plenty of force to pull the drain cleaner its full length into the drain. You might check to make sure that dirt or debris hasn't entered the sewer jetter through an opened garden hose, since this is the most common reason for reduced nozzle force.

There are detailed instructions to clear a plugged jetter nozzle on our FAQ page.

Fixed my Frozen Sump Pump Line!
- 01/05/2018
Over the winter my sump pump line froze and I needed it fixed. I called a bunch of plumbers but ultimately wanted an affordable solution that I can do myself and use in the future. After doing a bunch of research I discovered the Clog Hog.

Not only did it work its way through my frozen pipe, it cleaned it as well. What a great multi-functional tool that I have in my workshop.
Works like a charm

I have a 20 foot ABS drain line that is not properly pitched, so every year it clogs.

I usually have to snake it out but I feel like the snake just breaks open a small hole through the clog. The sink would drain after snaking it out, but not very fast.

With the clog hog, however, I was able to clear it out quickly, and now the sink is working as good as new.

I worked the clog hog from a clean-out in the basement and also from the drain itself. Since the pipe is not pitched well, it was a messy job, but my sink back to working as good as new.

I cleaned my 70 ft smelly, blocked, 2" kitchen drain line. 40 year old ranch house. Plumber charged over $500.00 a few years ago. I attacked it from the clean out and the roof vent. Chunks of stuff bigger than a hot dog were washed down the drain. Great product that does what it is supposed to do, but nobody gets 5 stars.
