cast iron lines are cleaned
- 09/03/2022
I used the 100' drain cleaner with a Costco Husqvarna PW3200. I'm very satisfied with the performance of the Clog Hog. I use it 1 or 2 times a year on my 40 year old cast iron sewer lines for preventative maintenance.

James, thank you for your comments.

If you suspect that there could be tree roots in a cast iron main drain, you should inspect the pipe with a sewer camera to make sure it's in good enough structural condition to clean with a sewer jetter or plumber's snake.

Should a sewer jetter or plumber's snake exit the pipe through a preexisting root crack, the drain cleaner could get stuck and you'd have a difficult extraction job.
One of my Best Investments

This cleaner paid for itself the first use. We have had professionals come out 2 times in past 2 yrs at 300 each time to clean out my main. I'm sure this will last a long time with it washing it out instead of boring one small hole through the clog. Very pleased with this hose. Thank you guys so much.
100' needle nose drain cleaner

I used this to jet a 20 year old restaurant drain line. The Clog Hog broke chunks of grease out of the line that were a 10 inches long and 2 to 3 inches thick that I could not get through with a cable machine. Great product!

very good and dependable product and very good sales and technical associates.
Drain cleaner hose is first rate, need to hook up the pressure washer to better supply.
- 04/14/2018
I emailed support before buying. I needed to clean a 90 foot 1.5" drain. They said I really needed a gas powered pressure washer and pointed me to this product to connect to it. Used it this afternoon, hooked up great. No problem uncoiling it, rolled it out and it lay more or less flat, no slinky spiral problem.

Pressure washer (Generac 3100 psi) docs said no more than 50 feet of hose to supply, but did not say diameter of hose. I had to go 100 feet, used half 3/4 inch, half 1/2 inch. Pressure washer could only provide pressure some of the time. Was able to finish the job with some frustration. Will be trying 100 feet of 3/4 inch hose next. So, only problem was with my hook up of the pressure washer to the supply water.

The drain cleaner hose worked first rate.

Rachan, thank you for your review.

If your pressure washer is cycling up and down (overloading) when powering the sewer jetter, it's most likely because the sewer jetter nozzle has been plugged by tiny debris (say, dirt or an insect) that's made its way into an open supply hose during storage or assembly. That's why it's important to always flush all of the supply hoses and trigger gun with clean water before you attach the sewer jetter.

You can check for a clean nozzle by connecting the sewer jetter and pressure washer to the water supply, and without starting the engine squeeze the trigger to allow low-pressure water to run through the lines. If the nozzle is clean you'll see four identical, low-pressure streams of water from the jet orifices.

If the nozzle appears to be plugged, there are instructions to clear it on our FAQ Page.

Bought the 100' Clog Hog to clean out a clogged footer tile. It worked awesome, I fed it thru my sump pit which was blocked with mud, etc. I was able to feed it through over 75' around my footer, and it cleaned out the tile without any troubles.

My tile drains into my sump pit with out any issues now.
Clog Hog gets it done
- 12/02/2018
The Clog Hog worked as advertised to clear our main sewer line. Took longer to set it up than it did for the Clog Hog to pull itself thru 70 ft of sewer line and the clog. It is trully remarkable how it pulls itself along. The only con thay i have is that it should come with a reel . Unwinding it without kinks is a challenge ii the snow. A great tool that will save us money on a drain rooter!

Wow this thing is like having a professional plumber in your garage. I run this down the clean out under my kitchen sink once a year, we don’t put grease down the sink but you can’t stop some from going down it. I used a 50 snake in the past and now use this, pipes are like brand new and no cut knuckles like in the past.
Great Drain Cleaner Tool
- 06/25/2018
We have purchased a few of these at our company and they have worked great. Looking forward to getting a few more.
Clearing a fresh water spring supply line
- 09/20/2018
The needle nose drain cleaner inserted into a 1 1/4 inch supply line from a 60 year old fresh water spring performed magnificently. It cleared a clogged line and fresh water flow was quickly restored.
Works perfectly

I wanted to make sure my underground sump pump discharge line was flushed clean because my sump pits have a constant supply of iron ochre that gets pumped outside and into a nuisance drain line at the front of my property.

This product did the job and put my mind at ease. I also have a 25' Clog Hog that I use on my interior sump discharge lines and I always get great results.
Powerful and works great!

I have been dealing with a plumbing issues for a couple of years. Every few months I have to go under the house to try to clear the clogs. I had installed a new clean out but this didn't help either. I was looking into purchasing a new snake but I saw this instead.

All the reviews where great, the videos showed it working well and that it was easy to use. I purchased mine and used it. It removed so much residue. The pipes are clean and everything is working great. I would recommend this to anyone with plumbing issues.

Great quality product, I used it n my Septic Field perforated pipe and it worked great. I also used it to clear my roof downspouts buried lines from base of gutter. Make sure you hold on and wear your eye protection and durable gloves. I have recommended to Family and neighbors. Thanks Clog Hog for making this product available to general public. Saved me lots of $ and I can control the quality of the job.

I have an old kitchen drain which has a depression which collects grease which clogs the drain. I was getting back ups every few months. Snaking is of no use. Commercial jetting is expensive and inconvenient. I was delighted to find the Clog Hog. It is absolutely perfect for this problem: easy to use, very efficient and cost effective. Highly recommended.
Throw away your snakes
- 04/09/2019
Had a clog backing up in the bathtub and floor drain. Called a roofer service. Problem solved. 30 day guarantee. 32 days later, same problem. I rent a snake, problem solved-for a month.
I bought my Hog in 2016 and today I had my first clog. You can’t beat that for effectiveness. And the customer support and assistance is nothing short of stellar.
Best tool ever

I had lawn drainage problems and after consulting with 3 landscapers, every one of them said it was collapsed and can't be fixed. But we will quote you on a new drainage system. Enter the Clog Hog. I ordered it last Friday, delivered on time yesterday. I fired it up today and within 2 hours my drains were flowing.

The pulling power of this thing is amazing. As soon as you squeeze the wand the Clog Hog goes shooting down the drain. Amazng product I can't recommend it high enough. Believe the good reviews, this thing delivers.

Steve, thank you for your review.

Because outdoor residue like decayed leaves, silt and roof aggregate can settle and solidify at the bottom of the pipe, and is heavier and harder to flush than an indoor sanitary clog, it's usually necessary to insert the sewer jetter into a downhill opening of the drain and point the nozzle uphill, toward the house, so that the back jets work with gravity to loosen the yard debris and flush it back downhill, in your direction.

Like all spray nozzles, sewer jetters have very little force when operating underwater. That's why it can be impossible to clean hardened, heavy yard debris from a top opening when there is standing water in the pipe above the clog.

Works well, used it on several of my French drain pipes.
Outstanding product
- 09/03/2019
The 100 Ft Needle Nose Drain Cleaner worked as advertised.

I had 9 buried rain gutters that I needed to clean out. Two of the gutters were completely clogged and it tore right through the blockage. It was easy to use and cleaned all of them out in a short amount of time.

The nozzle is very powerful and doesn’t leave any debris behind. It was easy to setup with my power washer. I would highly recommend this product.

My only suggestion would be to have 10 foot markings on the hose so I could tell how much line I had fed into the drain.

Response from Clog Hog:

Mark, thank you for your comments. The methods we've tested to mark the sewer jetter hose- including inks, shrink tubing and tapes- all eventually wear off. This creates a potential risk should users rely on the markings to determine when to shut off the high pressure spray.

If you need a temporary way to judge cleaning distance, you can attach thin strips of colored electrical tape. Or, you can measure the length of hose that's still outside the pipe and subtract that from the total length.

After paying $700 for someone to spend 10 min to clear a clog, I decided to buy the Clog Hog 100' cleaner when it backed up again. It worked exactly as the other guys and I was able to get to all of the clog.

The Clog Hog I ordered was received in a timely manner and worked like a dream. It pulled itself with little effort the full 100 feet. I wish I had this tool years ago made fast work of cleaning my drain.

100' Needle Nose Drain Cleaner
- 09/12/2019
I used the Clog Hog today and it was everything you represented it to be.

It did a better job than the professional cleaner I used the last time and it paid for itself the first time I used it. I highly recommend it!
Great for Residential Gutter Drains
- 08/12/2019
I cleaned out my gutters this summer in preparation to install gutter guards. The Clog Hog worked perfectly to clean out the downspouts and buried drains. Everything worked as it should.
100 Ft Needle Nose Drain Cleaner

Outstanding product. Now have both the 25 Ft and 100 Ft Needle Nose. Both are great for sink and shower drains.
Awsome Product
- 11/03/2019
Totally amazed with this product, worth every penny! The Clog Hog was easy to use and did an outstanding job. The design of the needle nose jet nozzle is brilliant, the hose pulls itself through the pipe while cleaning. My drain pipes have never been cleaned, (house was built in 1978), pipes are flowing smooth as new. Thanks for a great product!!!
perfect solution for a clogged drain
- 12/16/2019
took longer to set up than to clear the drain. Works flawlessly, self feeding and clearing the drain. Home owners must have tool!
Better than an auger
- 04/04/2020
This is a great piece of equipment to have. It works so much better than a hand or electric auger. I would highly recommend this product to anyone, I had a rooter out about 8 months ago. My drain has clogged twice since then. 2 days after I received my clog hog the drain clogged again. I was amazed at how well it worked and how well it cleaned out the drain.
Grease Clog Terminator/Eliminator
- 04/27/2020
This 100 feet Clog Hog Drain Cleaner is awesome and exceed my expectations. Once I got this working with my gas pressure washer. It only took about 15~25 minutes which is about 3 completed passes to clean out 10 years worth of grease build up and kitchen sink residues that surrounded the 60~70 feet drain pipes from the drain pipe service opening. Now the kitchen sink drains fast and no more blockage. This would be my annual maintenance routine from now on. In my opinion, its worth every cents. Regular 25 feet auger barely does anything to the blocked drained pipe. I doubt 100 feet auger will do much either and its almost the same price as this product. Awesome design and concept.
A game changer
- 07/31/2020
This is an amazing product! I bought a jetter kit on amazon before, tried to use it to unclog my gutter drain, but the jet head is too long, couldn't get through the drain elbow.

After watching the Needle Hose Drain Cleaner video, I decided to try it. I received the Needle Hose Drain Cleaner this afternoon, and hooked it up to my power washer, it worked! the jet head easily got through the drain elbow, and cleaned out the buildup inside the drain. I got the drain unclogged!
Works great

Pressure washer was on the small side. Received a call from Clog Hog to make sure I understood this.

Cleared some minor blockages in the septic field saving a major septic project.

Great product to have on hand and try before calling your plumber.
Great Product!

This thing is freakin' awesome! I was contacted by the company upon purchase. They went over a few things and best practices. Super awesome guy and informative.

I received my product in 3 days and used it today. After setting everything up like I wanted, it took maybe 5 minutes to run all 50 ft. Through my 2" sink drain line and clear it. The stench was horrible which lets me know it was clearing all that crap out of there.

This product is 100% worth the money. I wish I would have discovered it before a local plumber screwed me out of $500 to basically punch a whole in the clog with their cable machine and dip out. My sink was slow to drain a month after they serviced my house. I absolutely support and vouch for Clog Hog! Thanks for the awesome product!
My pipes are clean!
- 03/11/2023
The good: High quality materials. Twist, push, pull and the tubing is fine. Jets do pull the tube through the pipe. It is a very effective way to clean the sewer. Bucket of soapy water down the cleanout makes it much easier to get past turns.

Issues: It does like to coil on itself outside the pipe. The flow rate is too low to aspire soapy water from pressure washer into the tube. Would be nice to mount on a drum to spin through the pipes like a sewer snake. I will use it for yearly maintenance down vents and cleanouts.

Richard, thank you for your comments.

As stated in your product instructions, you should not use additives (including detergents) in the sewer jetter water supply, as this will overload the pressure washer.

Good quality hoses, including steel-belted sewer jetter hoses, have memory that tends to make them coil at first. However if desired you can straighten the hose so that it does not coil as easily.

The Needle Nose sewer jetter is thinner and lighter than a garden hose, so it's easier to coil up in your hand. If the free end of the hose twists as you coil it, you can remove the twists by always rotating the coil a full 360 degrees with your wrist, laying up the hose up on the same side of the coil each time. This ensures that the sewer jetter rolls out freely, without tangling, the next time you use it.
Works like a Champ!

Purchased to clear out corrugated landscaping drain, they called to make sure I knew how to use it (novice here) I had tough pluggage in line was able to clear it and flushed to ensure it was clear. Make sure you have your safety gloves on as I made that mistake and got two water jet cuts. My fault! I recommend the clog hog!

Thank You once again, I bought the 50’ Clog Hog years ago and used it for landscape Drains, works Fantastic.

I just Recently Bought the same model but 100’ to do from My Cleanout from one side of the House all the way out to my Sewer Lateral. I could not be more impressed, I have 2 Rigid K-400 Machines one with 50’ and one with 75’ 3/8” snakes on them and by far the Clog Hog was way easier to use as well actually does a better Job at moving and breaking up debris.

Greatly appreciate the Kind Phone call explaining the Shipping, sure 2nd day air was expensive but it got here as advertised. I wish I ordered the Hat this time!

Thank You!

Used in production brewery. Cleaning our 6" drain lines was a breeze. Would highly recommend.

Bob, thank you for your comments.

While you might get satisfactory results using a pressure washer rated 2.0 to 2.9 GPM to clean lightweight indoor waste (such as kitchen waste, sewage, or brewing residue) in a 6" ID pipe, if a 6" ID drain is clogged with heavier outdoor material like silt and yard debris you'll usually need a gas machine rated 3.0 to 4.0 GPM and one of our Commercial drain cleaners, with a higher-flow nozzle, to clean that drain.
